Click for the Next Test, Train for Repeated Gains
Click when you need a small power bump before another combat test. Move to an available Train station when repeated gains are more useful than constant manual input. Let your Dungeon results decide when to switch, since another player’s power target tells you very little about your build.
Version check: per-click gains, Train multipliers, station gates, and rebirth interactions can change. Read the current interface before deciding which method is faster on September 16, 2026 or later.
Both methods raise the visible power stat, but they do not replace the rest of progression. Ore, forged equipment, armor, active skills, capacity, movement, and stage choice still decide whether a run pays off.
The Decision Rule
Choose based on what is slowing you down right now:
| Situation | Better starting choice | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You are just short of a comfortable early clear | Clicking | Immediate control over a small gain |
| An eligible Train station gives repeated gains | Training | Less manual input for sustained power growth |
| A stage is dangerous despite acceptable kill speed | Neither by itself | Inspect armor, movement, and stage choice |
| A full bag ends easy runs | Neither | Check ore-capacity upgrades |
| Kills remain slow after a gear change | Click or train, then retest | Check whether power is the current bottleneck |
Retest in combat after gaining power. Otherwise, it is easy to keep grinding long after power stopped being the real problem.
How to Test Whether You Need More Power
Choose one familiar Dungeon stage and use it as a benchmark. Enter with the same weapon and armor, then watch:
- how long an ordinary group takes to defeat;
- how much health you lose while staying in range;
- whether your active skill changes the dangerous moment;
- whether the run reaches a useful ore return before capacity fills.
If enemies take too long but your gear and movement are otherwise sound, gain power and repeat the same test. If health is the problem, power alone may not solve it. If capacity fills while combat remains easy, stop training and improve the bag instead.
When Clicking Makes Sense
Clicking makes sense at the beginning because each click feeds power directly. It is also handy for a short push before another stage attempt or when no suitable Train station is available.
Click with a stopping condition. For example: gain power until you can retest the first difficult wave, then enter the Dungeon. Do not set a permanent target from someone else’s footage; displayed gains and player states differ.
Clicking is less useful when you already clear the benchmark comfortably. At that point, another system is probably slowing progress.
When Training Makes Sense
Train areas provide repeated power gains, and multiple stations can display different requirements or bonuses. Stand at the best station the current interface says you qualify for, then compare the result with your benchmark stage.
Training should lead to another useful test. Leave the station when:
- the target stage becomes comfortable;
- a gear test fits the kill-speed problem better;
- the ore bag or currency economy is the real bottleneck;
- a rebirth preview changes the value of more current-run power.
The highest-looking station is not automatically usable or efficient. Read its current gate and multiplier.
Power Cannot Fix Every Stall
Low power is only one reason a run can stall.
Slow kills
Power can help, but so can a better weapon or useful weapon skill. Compare the full item card and test one change at a time.
Heavy incoming damage
Inspect armor, movement, enemy grouping, and stage choice. More power helps only if faster kills actually remove the danger.
Short farming trips
If the ore counter fills while combat remains safe, inspect the current capacity upgrade. More power does not create bag space.
Weak forge results
Read the current Forge preview and choose a target slot before spending. More power does not guarantee a recipe, rarity, or item effect.
Build a Click-Train-Combat Cycle
Keep the loop simple:
small power gain -> benchmark stage -> identify the limiter -> choose the next system
If kills are slow, click or train again. If the bag fills, check capacity. If damage is high, inspect armor or step back. If the weapon feels weak, collect ore and forge with a target. The moment combat no longer points to power as the limiter, leave the click or Train area.
Account for Rebirth
Rebirth changes the long-term progression state, but exact resets, retained resources, bonuses, and thresholds are live details. Before spending a long session building current-run power, open the Before and After preview.
If the current panel says a reset is near and the trade supports your goal, decide whether more training is worth delaying it. If the reset would discard progress you still need, finish the short-term objective first. The panel, not a remembered number, should drive that choice.
FAQ
Is clicking or training faster in +1 Loot To Forge?
Compare the live per-click gain with the best Train station you currently qualify for. Values and gates can change, so test which method reaches your next combat check sooner.
When should I stop clicking?
Stop when your benchmark stage becomes comfortable or another bottleneck becomes obvious. Enter combat and measure the result instead of building power without a target.
Should I stay at a Train station until I unlock the next one?
Not automatically. Recheck combat, gear, ore capacity, and rebirth timing. The next station is useful only if power is still the system limiting progress.
Does more power always mean better Dungeon progress?
No. Armor, weapon effects, skill cooldowns, movement, stage choice, and ore capacity can end a run even when the power number rises.
Does rebirth change clicking and training?
The prestige system changes the player’s progression state, but exact bonuses and resets require the current Before and After preview. Read it before committing more time.
